2100 Series Zero Speed Switches

2100 Series zero speed switches are designed for service in industrial applications requiring protection against rust, rain, and hose directed water. 2100 Series switches are for shaft input speeds of 4 to 2000 RPM. Recommended method of driving is by split or flexible coupling.

Contacts actuate in either direction of shaft rotation. Housings are painted with an epoxy based powder coat to provide rust and corrosion resistance. Driving torque required is approximately 4 inch ounces.

NEMA 4/4x and NEMA 7 & 9 (EP-1 Series)

Available housings: Aluminum (AL), Cast Iron, (CI) and Explosion Proof (EP).

Approximate shipping weight:
Aluminum housings: 4 lbs.
Cast Iron housings: 8 lbs.
Explosion Proof housings: 13 lbs.

Selecting a Switch:

1. Consult the first two columns of the chart and select the speed range that most closely matches the critical shaft speed of your application.
2. From the last 3 columns, choose the model number with the appropriate contact configuration.
3. Choose a housing that best suits your needs.
  • Add "AL" in front of the model number for Aluminum housing.
  • Add "CI" in front of the model number for Cast Iron Housing.
  • Add "EP" in front of the model number for FM approved Explosion Proof.

4. Now pick the mounting style from the list in the upper right corner of the table you have been choosing from.
5. Click on the appropriate switch Series Model Number (2120, 2122 or 2130 Series) in the top left hand menu or below to order online, or call 1-800-745-6551 and ask for Sales. We will be happy to quote prices, assist you with your selection or take your order.
